Statement of Purpose:

The creation of the Mike Austin Golf website was two-fold: to explain the various aspects of Mike Austin's golf swing (and, in so doing, to perpetuate his legacy) and to provide monetary contributions to the Mike Austin Foundation.

The Mike Austin Foundation was established in July of 2005 to provide financial assistance to Mike Austin's widow, Tanya. According to her wishes, upon her death all further proceeds will go to help children as directed by a governing board. All proceeds of the sale of DVD's posted on this website go directly to the Mike Austin Foundation.

According to Mike and Tanya's wishes, I, Thomas Dang, am the sole proprietor of the Mike Austin Academy, and, from a contractual standpoint, the only certifiable authority of teachers of the Mike Austin method. Any other person laying such a claim is blatantly misleading and open to legal ramifications.
