Those vid caps were printed on one page and the page was scanned, so some quality was lost. These are the original vidcaps in thumbnails. I think the picture quality is better this way. At least the grass looks greener!

Thanks Pete,
Nice job mate, Interesting...
Yellow shirt pics.....look at the forearm angles at the top..they are at nearly 90 degrees to each other...If Mike now does the "throw" its line of force will be directly down the swing plane...perfect...
Also look how steep Mike's left arm is at the top...and look at that right shoulder going under in the downswing,, "Under and up, under and up!".....
Any chnace of getting the same pics with the driver?..... _________________ ..."if it doesn't talk to you, you're not swinging it".... |

The last sequence (with baseball cap) is my favorite. You can really see the throw and the pronation of the left arm at takeaway. _________________ Regards,

Thanks pete,
There is that 90 degree angle of the forearms at the top again...and look at the angle of the right forearm to the ground, it is pointing to the ground way outside his right hip....again perfect for throwing right on plane..... _________________ ..."if it doesn't talk to you, you're not swinging it".... |

You're welcome, guys! I nearly forgot about these frame captures that I made to study the MA swing in detail. I was particularly struck by how low his hands are in the last sequence as he is taking the club back (bscap032.jpg). As his left arm becomes parallel to the target line, his hands are only waist high. From there, the hands go nearly straight up. I think this is where I go off plane in my own swing.
